How to play
Pick a deck or start Team mode. Hold the phone at your forehead in landscape with the screen facing your friends, and keep still briefly while the round starts. Your friends give clues or act it out without saying the word.
- Nod down, tipping the screen toward the floor, to mark a correct guess.
- Tip up toward the ceiling to pass.
- After the round, watch your reaction clip if recording was enabled.
- For another way to play, turn on Settings → On-screen buttons so a helper can tap Correct or Pass.
How do I restore purchases?
Open Settings with the gear on the home screen, then tap Restore purchases. Use the same Apple Account that purchased the decks.
What is Kids mode?
Turn on Settings → Kids mode (picture clues) to show a picture above each word, helping children who are not reading yet join in.
How do I create a deck?
If Make Your Own Decks is unlocked, open the deck picker, go to My Decks and tap Make your own deck. Add a name and 10 to 200 clues, one per line. Custom decks are saved on your phone.
Nodding is not registering, or the directions feel backwards
Hold the phone still briefly at the start so it can calibrate. Try Settings → Tilt sensitivity. If nodding down counts as a pass, turn on Flip tilt directions. On-screen buttons also let a helper tap Correct or Pass.
My reaction clip did not record
Check that Settings → Record reaction clip is on and that Nod Squad has Camera access in your iPhone's Settings. Microphone permission is optional; without it, your clip records without sound.
Where are my clips?
Clips are kept on your phone. Tap Save to keep a separate copy in Photos, or Share to send it. Temporary clips are cleaned up as described in the privacy page, so save a clip you want to keep.
I cannot hear sound effects
Check that Sound effects is on in Nod Squad's Settings, raise the volume and check your iPhone's silent mode.
