How do I make a strip?
Open Curtain, choose a look and tap the red button. The booth counts down and flashes for each of the four shots, then your strip slides out. You can change the look, frame and caption after you shoot.
The camera screen is black
On your iPhone, open Settings → Apps → Curtain and turn on Camera. On iOS 17, the path is Settings → Curtain.
Saving to Photos is not working
Open Settings → Apps → Curtain → Photos and choose Add Photos Only. On iOS 17, open Settings → Curtain → Photos. Curtain only adds photos; it does not read your existing library.
How do I print a real strip?
On a finished strip, tap 4×6. This saves a 4×6 photo with two strips side by side. Print it as a standard 4×6 photo, then cut it down the middle for two strips.
I do not hear any sounds
Curtain follows your iPhone's silent mode. Turn silent mode off and check that Sounds is on in Curtain's Settings.
How do I get everyone in the shot?
Tap Group. Curtain switches to the back camera and gives you a longer countdown so you have time to prop up the phone and join in.
Can I remove the Curtain line on my strips?
Open Settings using the gear icon and turn off Curtain mark on strips.
Purchases and refunds
Apple handles App Store purchases. To request a refund, visit https://reportaproblem.apple.com/ and choose Curtain.
Which devices can use Curtain?
Curtain requires an iPhone with iOS 17 or later.
