No accounts, advertising or tracking
Proof of Santa has no account, analytics, advertising or tracking. The app makes no network requests of its own and does not collect your photos or personal information.
Your photos and clips
Photos you take or choose are processed on your iPhone. They are not uploaded to Freshpath Studio. Finished photos and clips are added to your photo library only when you choose to save them.
The app creates a temporary video file on your device when it renders a clip. Rendering another clip replaces that temporary file. This is separate from copies you save to Photos or share.
Camera and Photos permissions
The camera is used to photograph your room. To choose an existing image, the app uses Apple's photo picker, which provides only the photo you select.
Photos permission is add-only and is used to save your finished photos and clips. It does not give the app permission to browse your existing photo library.
Information kept on your iPhone
The app remembers local preferences, including sounds, the label on your footage and whether you have seen introductory tips. It also keeps a saved-photo count to decide when to show Apple's standard rating prompt. These preferences and counts are stored on your device.
Sharing and Apple services
When you share a photo or clip, Apple's share sheet lets you choose a destination. The receiving app or service handles that shared copy under its own privacy practices.
App Store purchases and ratings are handled by Apple. Apple's privacy policy is available at https://www.apple.com/legal/privacy/.
Children
The app does not collect personal information from anyone, including children.
